It can help provide financial protection against any unforeseen repairs or damages that may arise, and alleviate any stress that having to deal with unexpected home issues can bring. It’s extra security and peace of mind for you and your family, an additional layer of protection as you get settled into your new Starlight Home. You can rest easy knowing that your home is covered long after you and your family move in. In the spirit of “Guiding You Home”, and making the homebuying process as easy as possible, our warranty is included with your home purchase and can be utilized whenever needed, with no hassle.

StrucSure offers a 1, 2, and 10 year, multi-part warranty to cover new Starlight homeowners if you ever have an issue. The one-year warranty backs the builder’s warranty on potential defects in workmanship and materials. The two-year warranty backs the builder’s warranty on defects in the wiring, piping, and ductwork in the electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems. Homebuyers are covered from the day of closing for major structural defects under the 10-year warranty.

One-Year Warranty

  • Repair, replacement or payment of covered parts of home that don’t meet established Performance Standards during first year.
  • Backs builders warranty on defects in workmanship materials including:
  1. Site work
  2. Concrete
  3. Masonry
  4. Carpentry
  5. Doors & windows
  6. Siding & roofing
  1. Finishes
  2. Specialties (e.g., fireplaces)
  3. Equipment (e.g., cabinets)
  4. Mechanical systems (e.g., plumbing)
  5. Heating, air conditioning, & ductwork
  6. Electrical system

Two-Year Warranty

  • Repair, replacement or payment of covered parts of home that don’t meet established Performance Standards during first and second year.
  • Backs builders warranty on defects in the wiring, piping, and ductwork in the electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems including:
  1. Water supply system
  2. Septic tank system
  3. Plumbing
  1. Electrical
  2. Heating
  3. Air conditioning

Ten-Year Warranty

  • Coverage from day of closing for major structural defects
  • Repair, replacement or payment for major structural defect occurring within first two years of warranty term including:
  1. Load-bearing foundation systems, footings, and piers
  2. Load-bearing floor framing systems
  3. Load-bearing walls and partitions
  4. Load-bearing roof framing systems
  5. Load-bearing beams
  6. Load-bearing headers
  1. Load-bearing girders
  2. Load-bearing lintels (other than those supporting veneers)
  3. Load-bearing columns (other than those designed to be cosmetic)
  4. Load-bearing masonry arches (other than those designed to be cosmetic)
  • StrucSure is directly responsible for structural defects during years 3-10

Once you’ve moved into your new Starlight home, StrucSure will guide you through any questions or warranty issues via the StrucSure Home Warranty’s First Call Warranty Service Program. As part of the First Call Warranty Service Program, you will be assigned a dedicated representative that will act as a liaison between yourself, Starlight Homes, and trade contractors. Your representative will serve as your primary point of contact should you need assistance with anything warranty-related, from explaining your warranty benefits to coordinating repairs with Starlight Homes and monitoring the repair process. They are here to ensure your questions and warranty items are addressed and your experience is a positive one.
